Celebrating over 43 years of designing outstanding bathrooms
In 2024 Island Bathrooms celebrated 43 years of making a difference. From the very beginning of our journey as a bathroom design and supply showroom, we have dedicated our time to providing the very best in design, choice, quality of product, price and service. We are a family run business, all be it, and extended one as many of our team have been with us for a number of years.
The Island Bathrooms story
It was not long after opening our first showroom in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, that we decided to expand our showroom capacity by opening a second showroom in Cleveland Road, Bournemouth. Between both showrooms we have 5 floors of display, ensuring we can offer something for everyone.
In 2013, we took the decision to expand further in the South West. We purchased a 2 story retail showroom in Salisbury, with the benefits of warehouse facilities, storage and customer parking. Furthermore the expansion increased our bathroom offerings into Wiltshire. Therefore making Island Bathroom one of the largest bathroom showrooms in the South West.
Our growth and success has largely been due to how well we have looked after our customer and those that they have referred to us. I am pleased to say that most of Island’s customers are regulars, many returning a number of years since completing their previous home improvement projects.
We are sticklers to quality, value and good old fashioned service. We are always searching for new and exciting products from the United Kingdom, Europe and around the world whilst constantly checking quality and price. Let’s be honest, nobody wants to pay more than they have to. We aim to showcase all that is new and exciting with a variety of budgets in mind. We have a wonderful team that are dedicated to looking after you.

When you’ve got an idea of what your ideal bathroom will look like, come and speak to one of our experts. They’ll help you balance your ideas with your budget.
If you’ve got a busy schedule, ensure we’re available at a time that suits you by booking an in-store consultation. It’s important you have room’s measurements as this will help our designers create your space on our virtual design software
Planning & Design Time
Once your order arrives, have a final look to make sure everything’s OK. Unless you have a flat with a service lift, we’ll only be able to deliver to the ground floor.
It’s a good idea to arrange your order to arrive in advance of your fitter’s start date. That way you have time for any last-minute changes you may need to make.
The Doorbell Rings
Pay a visit to one of our bathroom showrooms. You’ll be able to get some hands-on experience with what’s on offer. We’re constantly changing our displays, so more than one visit might help when searching for inspiration.

Ideas & Inspiration
Once you have confirmed your order, its always important to check with your fitter that what you have selected is suitable for your bathroom. Once we have all your items we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery/collection.
