The wetroom

Wet Rooms are waterproofed (tanked) rooms usually equipped with a walk in shower. The wet room itself becomes the shower enclosure, with shower drainage installed into a gently sloped floor instead of a conventional shower tray. Often rather than waterproofing the entire bathroom, a wet area is created where a section of the room is earmarked as a shower area, often screened off with 10mm thick glass wetroom panels.

A wetroom is a luxurious and desirable solution for almost any bathroom with its contemporary feel and efficient use of space. It is also a great way to add value to your home.

Unlike with a traditional shower tray, the wetroom showering area can be almost any size or shape. It can be especially popular amongst the less-abled market, where the benefits of level-access flooring are clear.
